batmanimal: Road Trip USA: Dog-Friendly Stops Across America
We drove about 3,200 miles from Washington, DC to Northern California in 6 days, stopping in Nashville, Oklahoma City, Santa Fe and Lake Havasu. Here were our German Shepherd-friendly stops, from start to finish:
1. Washington, DC — Hotel Madera
Charming, upscale hotel with great staff…
My trip right before Christmas, as written by my girlfriend for dog owners.
I know it’s old, but I just saw it and I can’t stop laughing.
[Insert pun about save/sweep here.] Nice one by Three Twins, and also I love Mexican chocolate.

New Bike configuration at Market and Valencia st. For turning left we will now have to queue up on the right and get our own light. Gonna depend on cyclist heading west to not run that stop light tho.
Interesting idea, but the concrete island is scary. I was riding next to somebody last night who almost hit it. Problems: 1) Why put such a big barrier in a crowded, fast-moving area? 2) The inner lane is pretty narrow, especially considering the volume of bikes going straight there, 3) Bikes going straight tend to go fast to beat the Market Street intersection light, so this gets in the way.
A must see fabulous performance by @ericw and our very own @mikebutcher at #slush12.
Imagine there’s no TechCrunch
It isn’t hard to do
No bullshit bloggers
Just your laptop and you
Imagine all the startups
Living life in peace
You who who who….!
You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the Web will live as one…
Mike Butcher used to be an indie rocker. Great guy to party with (okay to work with, too).
